Marketing Manager

Netskrt is looking for a talented, results-driven Marketing Manager to join the Netskrt team.


We are a highly motivated team, dedicated to delivering products and services that improve the customer experience when accessing streaming video at the edges of the network. We are developing a set of inter-related technologies targeting businesses that offer WiFi to their customers, but which have limited bandwidth -from rail services,
airlines and cruise lines to ISPs serving rural areas.

You are a marketer who enjoys both developing the strategy and getting the work done. You understand caching and CDN (Content Delivery Network) technology, and like creating compelling communications that speak to the end user, and your channel partners. You’ve lived marketing in start-ups and have the skills and know-how to design and deliver integrated marketing programs that build your brand and position your company to drive the conversation and excite customers. You like working in a close-knit team environment; you’re a team player and a self-starter.


Netskrt offers the opportunity to market a new, innovative, and proven product that delivers real value to channel partners and end users - the ability to watch the videos they want, even as they ride across a continent, or if they live in a remote area far from a major center.


The Marketing Manager will manage Netskrt’s brand-building and lead-generation programs, using an integrated marketing approach that incorporates digital, event and account marketing. With the ability to work independently, the Marketing Manager will drive awareness and demand for Netskrt’s eCDN (edge CDN) on trains, airplanes, and in rural communities.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Plan: Develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans to
build awareness and generate sales and partner leads. Work with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, customer service, sales, and agencies to develop, design and execute integrated marketing programs.
Brand: Build the Netskrt brand and reputation, within North America, Europe, and globally. Drive awareness and interest in Netskrt products within target markets and segments.
Lead Generation: Work with the leadership team to determine the appropriate timing, volume, and nature of leads for key solutions. Develop and execute cost-effective and successful lead-generation programs and events.
Public Relations: Drive public relations program to position Netskrt as a leader in the eCDN market. Includes developing key messages, defining the PR strategy, writing content and working with agencies to identify and build
relationships with key influencers (industry analysts, media, bloggers) and gain coverage that builds Netskrt’s reputation with target audiences. 


Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years marketing communications experience within the technology industry

  • Experience delivering digital marketing, event marketing and influencer programs

  • Strong project and relationship management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks

  • Aptitude to understand the technology and articulate the benefits to channel partners and end users is key

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills including writing and editing; the ability to write original content is highly preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

  • Experience in a technology-based company is an asset

  • Video streaming

  • Caching and CDN technologies (Netflix, Amazon, Google, Limelight, Akamai, Fastly)

  • Networking and network management systems

  • IoT and related services
